Diane Medley is the Managing Member of Meritrust Wealth Management. She co-founded Meritrust in 1999 and Mountjoy Chilton Medley LLP in 2010.
Diane leads the firm in achieving its vision and mission around helping people and navigating complex financial planning opportunities to achieve financial well-being. Her extensive background in leading a top 100 regional accounting firm and serving clients in a variety of financial areas for over 30 years serves her well in recognizing the needs and opportunities of the financial planning clients of Meritrust. While at MCM, she led the firm through several mergers and acquisitions, making MCM the largest CPA firm in the region with approximately 350 employees across five locations, including offices in Louisville and Lexington, Kentucky; Indianapolis and Jeffersonville, Indiana; and Cincinnati, Ohio. Today, Meritrust serves clients across this same footprint.
Diane currently serves as the Chair of the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce; Finance Chair, Executive Committee Member and Board Member of the University of Louisville Board of Trustees; Finance Chair and Board Member of the University of Louisville Health, Inc.; Board Member of Brinly Hardy Inc, a multi-generational family owned business; Board Member of the Ogle Foundation, Inc., a private foundation; former Board Chair of Greater Louisville Inc.; former Board Chair of One Southern Indiana; Former Board Chair of the University of Louisville Foundation; former Board Member of the Indiana Chamber of Commerce, National Association of Women Business Owners, Louisville Chapter, and the Kentucky Society of CPAs. She is a member of the International Women’s Forum, the Ky Society of CPAs and the AICPA. She is an alumna of the Leadership Louisville Class of 2008 and the Leadership Ky Class of 2015.
After graduating from Meade County High School in 1973, Diane attended the University of Louisville and graduated with a B.S. in Commerce in 1980 with Highest Honors. She was the class Valedictorian of the School of Business and Outstanding Senior in Accounting.
